Calathea ornata, commonly known as the Beauty Star, is a popular and striking tropical plant appreciated for its stunning foliage. It belongs to the Marantaceae family and is native to the rainforests of South America, specifically Brazil.

The Beauty Star is known for its large, lance-shaped leaves that showcase an intricate pattern of dark green and pink stripes. The upper side of the leaves is glossy, while the undersides are a rich purple hue, adding to its visual appeal. The contrast between the pink stripes and the deep green background gives the plant a mesmerizing and eye-catching appearance.Caring for Calathea ornata requires providing it with the right conditions. It thrives in medium to bright indirect light, avoiding direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate leaves. The plant prefers warm temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C) and high humidity levels.
